Modular homes can generally be completed faster than a stick build home. From start of construction in the factory, these homes can be completed in as little as 30 days. Assembly and completion of the build can take an additional 30 to 90 days depending on the time of year and the type of property the buyer wishes to build on. This puts total completion time anywhere from 2-4 months. Stick build homes can be completed anywhere from 6-12 months or longer depending on the complexity of the project.
The cost of modular home building is somewhat controlled as the purchased home is one of many being built by one manufacturer, saving home buyers an average of 15% over stick build prices.
